I would definately recommend it though I have heard there are some other good ones out there.

I did my online course with Norwood English http://www.norwoodenglish.com and even before I finished the course they found me a job in South Korea. The course was cheap, the tutor really friendly and they have continued to help me even though I've completed the course. I also did their Gramamr for Teachers course and this has been a great help.

Language schools definitely take on tutors who have done online courses. It's becoming more and more common to do an online course. The same goes for English learners who are looking to take their English courses online.

Oxford Seminars has a great TESOL certification course. Between the in-class portion and the additional Specialization Modules, graduates can earn up to 220 hours of certification. The in-class portion is especially important for: classroom demonstrations (and detailed feedback), learning pronunciation skills, observing seasoned instructors and classroom discussion.
