Post Teaching English in Spain
I am looking into teaching English in Spain with a TEFL certification, but I currently live in America, and do not have a lot of money. I do not want to go through the certification process if I will not be able to find a job in Spain. Can anyone tell me what the job market in Spain is like for a native English speaker with a TEFL certification? Thank you!

I am also thinking of teaching English in Europe...but I haven't quite processed my papers yet because I still have a contract in my company.

One point is that if you do not have a passport from a European country you'll find it almost impossible to get work in Europe. The bureaucratic hassle is just far too great.

As for Spain, it's in the economic doldrums at the moment and jobs are harder to come by. Plus many jobs there are simply not advertised online and the only way you'll hear about them is to be in the country itself.

This link might help: TEFL in Spain.
