I am female with a joint degree in race relations/womens studies and a CELTA certificate.

join a charity and help fundraise that way you will meet a lot of people and it is very rewarding

you could volunteer with the citizens advice bureau.

you get to talk to all sorts of people and you can specialise in certain areas. All you have to do is phone them, go and see them for an informal chat and then fill in a form and they train you up.
