I'll be teaching little kids (elementary school ages) and I was wondering about pointers on how to make it 'fun' and 'interesting'games, etc.

Hi Divadesa, I am teaching English to university students in Turkey, but really interested in teaching children to discover the relationship between the first and the second language learning and teaching. Recently, something has occured to my mind. I would like to share it with you. Why don't we try using "toys" in classes to focus the students' attention on the tasks they are dealing with. There are lots of toys around that can be used for the purpose of education to make our students creative in learning a language. Toys can be chosen according to their interests to enhance their intellect such as problem solving activities so that teaching can be fun for the students. I hope this idea will be helpful. I wish you success.
