Can anyone help me? I am completing an online TEFL course and I'm a bit stuck for ideas on this question:

You are teaching comparing products to a group of middle managers at a tyre factory, you will want to include comparatives and superlatives (more, most, less, least etc.), but you will also want to include phrases for expressing opinion (What do you think? I strongly believe..., I feel... etc).
How would you lead into this lesson? What materials would you use for a lead-in? How would you get hold of material?

That is pretty tough...I guess you could start by asking for their opinion on a particular product and by asking them why. For example, you can present to them three candies of the same flavor but different brands. You can ask them which of the three they like more, what they like least, and let them explain why. You can ask if it is because of the flavor or the packaging. That is my opinion...

Can you get an online catalogue of tyres? Or at least a bunch of pictures which you can put together with prices and specs. Present to the class and get them to compare them by answering leading questions. Can you have them associate different tyres with different vehicles and situations (e.g. for off-road, for wet surfaces) and say why?

But to be sure you really want to ask your course tutor for help here; that is what they are there for!
